Featuring an interesting selection of original paintings and watercolours from a single owner without any additions. The consignor has been a longtime art collector purchasing from auctions, galleries and antique shows worldwide the past 60 years and has decided to downsize part of his collection. Many of these works have graced the walls of his palatial mansion located just north of London for many years; others are fairly new acquisitions.
Terms for this auction: Paintings are guaranteed for 21 days following the auction unless the terms "attributed", "after" or "speculative" appear in the title or description. Works offered as "attributed", in Gardner's opinion may be by the artist described but offered without any guarantee. Paintings offered "after" bear a signature and in Gardner's opinion are not by the artist described and sold without any guarantee. Paintings offered "in the style of" are unsigned and in Gardner's opinion not by the artist described and sold without any guarantee. The consignor purchased many of these works as speculative without any further provenance or documentation. Please note that some selected lots have higher starting bids; however, everything is offered without reserve.
Measurements are of the image only, height by width, frame size not included. Condition of artwork and frames are not guaranteed and Gardner's strongly suggest prospective bidders take advantage of viewing times to satisfy themselves with condition.

If a bid is placed in the last five minutes, the end time of the auction will be extended to allow further bidding. A buyer's premium of 17% (2% discount if paying by cash or debit within 7 days) and HST will be added to the purchase price.
